Architecting and maintaining the core backend powering ValetEZ’s smart parking and mobility solutions — ANPR, Fastag, controllers, and operations dashboards.

  • Node.js + AWS systems handling 150k+ daily transactions across parking, gate ANPR, parking guidance and Fastag flows.
  • Designing and optimising edge controllers (Odroid, smaller boards) for ANPR, Parking Guidance System (PGS) and access integrations that must work in the real world.
  • Building automated log & monitoring pipelines — controllers push logs to S3 or CloudWatch, queried via Athena and surfaced in a central overview dashboard so I rarely have to SSH into devices.

I started with hardware — breaking into locked PCs, playing with BIOS passwords and low-level hacks (sorry, dad) — then went deep into web development, PHP, Node.js and cloud.

Today that arc shows up as hardware + software at scale: controllers in basements and parking lots sending logs to S3 or CloudWatch, ANPR and Face ID systems feeding live data into dashboards I’ve built so we can see what went wrong without logging into every device.

I like designing systems that expect failure, surface it clearly, and then recover gracefully.
